A Little About Me...

Strategic storytelling is at the heart of everything I do.

 

As a seasoned digital marketing leader, I've had the privilege of heading up a variety of integrated marketing teams. From brainstorming creative campaigns to lining up content strategy with organizational goals, I've overseen every facet of marketing and editorial. My specialty is combining strategic creative with thoughtful execution that results in measurable business outcomes.

I'm currently a Fractional CMO and Consultant working on a variety of different ventures in the digital marketing space. My latest gig is serving as the Chief Marketing Officer of Legit Creative, a video testimonial business I co-founded.

 

As Senior Director of Content at Pillar4 Media, I led a team of smart, passionate digital marketers to engage audiences across a variety of channels about the value of a healthy lifestyle. I partnered with household-name publications such as Men's Journal and Sports Illustrated, as well as more specialty sites like Garage Gym Reviews and BarBend, to inform, educate, and ultimately convert users seeking information about the right wellness products for them. We covered product categories from nutrition, strength, and conditioning to recovery and longevity with a ton of different digital content, including long-form SEO, video, email newsletters, paid and organic social, and more. 

 

Before joining Pillar4, I spent several years as a Creative Director at Centerline Digital, a Raleigh-based agency that specializes in B2B customer experience marketing for enterprise technology companies. During my tenure at Centerline, I collaborated with a studio of in-house and freelance creative professionals to develop multi-channel campaigns and content strategies designed to solve real business problems. 

 

I've also spent spent several years in the start-up world. I designed the content program at inMotionNow, today one of leading providers of workflow software for marketing and creative professionals. As both digital marketer and brand publisher, I oversaw a comprehensive strategy that drove conversions, increased revenue, and engaged our audience through storytelling.  

 

My roots are in the agency world. I've occupied roles in creative, business development, and client relations. As Account Executive at Pace Communications, I managed relationships with clients at some of the most reputable Fortune 500 companies in the world, including Walmart U.S. I also spent several years as Managing Editor of Custom Content at U.S. Airways Magazine, where I editorially directed monthly city profiles and collaborated with a brilliant team of freelance writers, designers, and stylists.

While I'm a born-and-bred Jersey Girl, I've been solidly settled in the beautiful southeast since graduating from my alma mater, Wake Forest University. Go Deacs!

Those who know me and have worked with me in the past describe me as a passionate, dedicated creative leader with energy and enthusiasm in spades. I love collaborating with new partners on content projects of any size or scope. Brand storytelling is my speciality.
